Dessa Glasser, Principal with The Financial Risk Group, Inc., has been appointed as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Oppenheimer Holdings Inc.

Oppenheimer Holdings Inc. (OPY on the New York Stock Exchange), and its affiliates provide a full range of wealth management, securities brokerage and investment banking services to high-net-worth individuals, families, corporate executives, local governments, businesses and institutions.

Dessa is an industry leader with a 30-year track record designing innovative solutions and organizations in risk, data, and analytics. She joined FRG in 2017, after building the Chief Data Office for Asset Management at JPMorgan Chase, serving as the first Chief Data Officer, and launching the Capital Stress Testing Analytics team for the Corporate Financial Office. Previously she served as the Chief Risk Officer for Bunge Ltd. and was the first Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research.

She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Arts, Fordham University and President’s Council, New York Science Museum (NYSCI); She is a member of the EDM Council; and the Women’s Bond Club of NY, where she was a co-president.
