FRG Principal Dr. Jimmie Lenz will teach a class on Financial Innovation this Fall as an Adjunct Professor in the Finance Department at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Lenz will leverage his more than 25 years of industry and academic experience to provide students with a good perspective on the role on innovation in finance, and in particular Blockchain and Machine Learning.  Students will have an opportunity to hear from experts in both fields and an opportunity to work hands on with both technologies. Lenz’s experience with development and patent activity related to trading, risk management, and process improvement provides perspective that will benefit students.

Lenz is a respected author and speaker who has shared his expertise in financial services, risk management, and data analytics in a number of publications, as well as through his work with global financial service firms and exchanges. Prior to joining FRG in 2017, he held a number of senior management roles, most recently with Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management.
